How We Failed Our Current Generations   -- Primis     9-13-01,  3:40PM
It takes one day to undo years of reinforcement and teachings.  One day to make a nation and world realize that it was only fooling itself and harming its own by thinking anything otherwise.

Three buildings, four aircraft, and now everything that has happened, that is happening, and is going to happen is not registering with a large group of people because we've been teaching them lies all these years.

We've failed them.

I sit here looking for something to say that hasn't already been said.  And as truly hurt as I and so many others are right now, I can't even begin to fathom how things are right now in New York City and Washington DC.

Grief doesn't begin to describe it here as it is.

The above quote is of course from Keith Olbermann, probably his one catch-phrase I've always liked the most.  It's also applicable to my newest obssession -- a little text-sim game called Eastside Hockey Manager.  Want to know why I haven't updated the site in a while?  I've been playing this sucker quite a bit.  For hours on end.  It was loaded on top of my desktop for 4 days straight without ever being closed or shut down.
