Bontago
Bontago is best summed up by a blurb on its website:
Bontãgo stretches the limits of strategy gaming by providing an innovative experience that will challenge even the most seasoned gamers. Construct towers to expand influence and control an ever changing playing field.
And it's totally maddening and fun.

"What Be Doin' at Da' Club"
(the title is courtesey of DaveG, not my brainchild)
Best summed up by the Fark summary of the story:
"50 Cent ends show after being hit with water bottle. Reminder: This man was shot nine times and lived."

Duh.
The India Times chimes in about how many companies are already fleeing from India and moving elsewhere because of the rising costs to pay for employees there. Cause yeah... none of us saw that one coming...

When Police Meet Marines
"Police officers responded to a domestic dispute, accompanied by marines. They had just gone up to the door when two shotgun birdshot rounds were fired through the door, hitting the officers. One yelled `cover me!' to the marines, who then laid down a heavy base of fire. . . . The police officer had not meant `shoot' when he yelled `cover me' to the marines. [He] meant . . . point your weapons and be prepared to respond if necessary. However, the marines responded instantly in the precise way they had been trained, where `cover me' means provide me with cover using firepower. . . . over two hundred bullets [were] fired into that house."
There's an extremely-fascinating US War College read (from 1997) making the rounds of several websites on this topic and quote above discussing military units forced into domestic policing and control situations (OOTW: Operations Other Than War) -- specifically the 1992 LA Riots.

ultimate-guitar.com
As most of you know, I'm a huge guitar addict. I play both electric and acoustic guitar, scrounge the web for guitar tabs, read Guitar World off and on, and generally enjoy discussing and reading about guitar as a whole.
Well if you're interested in guitar at all, ultimate-guitar.com really is for you.

QB's Don't have Mad Web Skeelz
A fascinating thing happened on Fark.com the other day when somebody stumbled across #1 Overall NFL pick Eli Manning's website from his early days as a student at Ole Miss (it has since been pulled by the university, possibly out of embarrassment... Eli's website featured things like an animated GIF of Spock raising an eyebrow and every link containing an unnecessary "mailto:").
Not to be outdone, someone tracked down Phillip Rivers' student website. It's not much better (possibly worse since it doesn't feature a totally random picture of Spock).
HOWEVER, former Marshall standout (and current Jacksonville Jaguars ) QB Byron Leftwich's site is at least a start...
I'm entirely too thankful my first-ever website isn't still up, and even then it was much better than these.
